The company founder, Mr. Sukru Ertugrul (Electrical Engineer), successfully completed his engineering education at Telemark Ingeniørhøgskole (Porsgrunn/Norway) in 1981.
After continuing his business life in Norway for a while, he returned to Turkey to lay the foundations of his dream cable factory.
Initially known as Meram Kablo Industry and now as MKS Kablo, the company started cable production in 1987 with the manufacture of electrical cables.
With the inclusion of the next generation of the family in management, the company began producing flat elevator cables for the elevator sector in the mid-90s.
The current 8,000 m² facilities are divided into departments for production, management and administration, laboratory, and quality control.
MKS Kablo is strategically located in Konya, Turkey. Since Konya is in the middle of Turkey and close to ports, MKS Kablo can easily trade with all provinces of Turkey and other countries.

We also manufacture halogen-free elevator cables using halogen-free materials to meet specific fire safety requirements. Our primary goal is to consistently provide our valued customers with better, longer-lasting flat elevator cables.
MKS Kablo manufactures high-speed elevator traveling cables that integrate data, video, and control signals in flat cables designed for high-rise elevators. These versatile cables operate efficiently in elevator shafts up to 150 meters high, with elevator speeds of up to 10 meters per second.
Our Elevator Traveling Cable (CAT6) was developed to meet all data needs between the elevator control system and the elevator car. Increasing demand in the elevator industry has accelerated the transition from standard power cables to data-enabled elevator cables.
We also produce elevator CAT6 cables that seamlessly transmit visual (video) data for modern elevators. This allows elevator passengers to seamlessly access television, video, and audio services within the elevator car.
